Our tiny business prepares written leases for owners with rentals in Northern Virginia as a part of our rental property management services service.
We know that, you’re probably already aware that all of our leases are in writing. The rental contract Nesbitt Realty uses was written by staff attorneys at the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors. Nesbitt just changes details like the term of the lease, the dates and so forth.
Leases typically have a one-year term. Longer leases are on rare occaisions approved and only after discussions with the landlord. With the owner’s approval—especially during slower rental periods—our real estate business makes leases for less than one year. Most usually landlords accept longer or shorter leases to have the rental contract expire during a more active rental period. Nesbitt Realty will every now and then work to place a tenant on a month-to-month or short-term lease to accommodate sale of the dwelling by the property owner, a lessee’s pending departure, or moving the investment property into a more active rental period.
For a complete break-down our process, email Nesbitt Realty or read more here. Nesbitt Realty and Management is fully authorized to manage rental in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and we have all necessary licenses and accreditation. Nesbitt Realty has these essential affiliations: Northern Virginia Association of Realtors, Better Business Bureau, National Association of Realtors, and more.
